Within the context of the “Emergency medical services Datawarehouse Applications and Dashboard” (EMS-DAD) project, the FPS Health of Belgium wishes to recruit a Senior Java Developer.
The main goal of EMS-DAD is the organization of emergency medical assistance in Belgium. This includes closing conventions with emergency services and determining permanences. It also covers the management of resources used such as vehicles, radios, and pagers. Unique vehicle numbers and ISSI numbers for radios and pagers must be generated.
Additionally, the project involves inspection of resources and financing. Based on the convention, the service’s resources, and inspection results, an allowance is granted and calculated by the application.
Two applications will be developed: a Front Office for external services to submit requests and consult authorization documents, and a Back Office for FPS users to manage services, conventions, generate numbers, calculate quotas and financing.
The operational system’s data will feed a datawarehouse.
The Senior Developer will join an existing team including an analyst, Java architect, project leader, and a Key User/Product Owner on the business side.
It is important that the Senior Developer is willing to think through optimal technical solutions to meet functional needs.
Mission start date: October 2022.
Required skills include proactivity, team spirit, open-mindedness, eagerness to learn, participation in code reviews, and proposing code improvements or simplifications.
