We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with a broad background in IT infrastructure, operating systems, databases, data, and applications. Strong Power BI reporting skills are essential. Experience with OT is advantageous. The position reports to the Operations Manager.
Location: Mechelen – Muizen, with occasional remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for IT solutions supporting daily management of the technical environment.
- Follow up on outsourced IT services including incidents, requests, and changes.
- Responsible for the ITSM application used to manage the technical environment.
- Responsible for the TOTEM application supporting automated access control.
- Support applications managing the environment, including physical security and OT installation monitoring.
- Manage internal and external supplier contracts, focusing on SLAs.
- Responsible for housing SLA reporting using Power BI, SP, and Grafana.
- Responsible for KPI reporting using Power BI EED.
- Lead the team on data solutions.
- Provide input on policies, processes, and procedures within the ISO framework, with special attention to ISO 27001.
- Actively participate in internal, external, and customer audits.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electro Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Ideally 10 to 15 years of IT experience.
- At least 10 years managing IT and data installations.
- At least 5 years coaching and providing operational leadership to technical staff.
- At least 5 years managing suppliers.
- Experience with customer and supplier management.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards.
- Process-, procedure-, and service-oriented.
- Hands-on management and execution.
- Basic ITIL knowledge.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
