Role As a Solution Architect, you will design solution architectures for complex systems involving multiple applications and integrations. You will work on several initiatives focused on products and services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level impact assessments and create solution designs for projects.
- Align with stakeholders to ensure the architecture meets business needs.
- Prepare architectural solution designs, analyze needs, and formulate transformation plans.
- Help stakeholders understand complexity, challenge business requirements, and provide alternatives.
- Define feasibility and initial workable versions.
- Contribute to the long-term vision for application modernization and rationalization.
- Enforce architectural guardrails to maintain an evolving and maintainable application landscape.
- Contribute to an enterprise architecture mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an architect role, preferably in a complex environment.
- General knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience designing architectural solutions and assessing impact.
- Ability to present solutions and convince stakeholders.
- Adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with architectural frameworks.
- Technical affinity and an AI mindset.
Preferred
- Experience with complex and large application landscapes.
- Experience with Confluence and LeanIX for documentation.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture.
Working conditions
- Location: Mechelen
- Contract type: Full-time preferred
- On-site requirement: Monday fixed on-site day; second and third on-site days are flexible.
- Languages: English required; Dutch preferred.
