As a SAP FS-CD Functional Consultant, you take full responsibility for the design, configuration, and ongoing support of the SAP FS-CD subledger module. Your tasks include analyzing business requirements around collections, payments, receivables, disbursements, and account management. You conduct workshops with business stakeholders and process owners to translate those requirements into functional specifications and SAP solution designs.
You identify gaps between standard SAP FS-CD functionality and business needs, recommending use of standard SAP features when appropriate while minimizing unnecessary custom development. You configure and maintain SAP FS-CD functionality across all relevant areas and establish effective SAP FI-CO integration.
You document business processes, functional requirements, configuration decisions, and solution designs. You define functional requirements for interfaces between FS-CD and other SAP or non-SAP systems, and specify posting and accounting needs.
Collaboration with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, APIs, jobs, and data flows is part of your role. You analyze integration errors to determine if root causes lie in business data, configuration, interface logic, or custom development.
You support end-to-end reconciliation between source applications, FS-CD, and financial accounting. You design and document detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
You also conduct unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing comprehensive training and documentation.
Required qualifications: expert knowledge of FS-CD functional architecture, proficiency configuring the subledger Process Model and defining G/L integration into SAP FI-CO. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, ability to work independently and collaboratively. Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FS-CD, strong expertise in SAP system integration, and solid understanding of collection and payment processes.
The position is available full remote on a contract from ASAP until 31/12/2026 with option to extend.
